Honestly, the hardest part for me wasn’t “how do I get into tech?” It was “what the hell do I even do in tech?” If you’ve got an economics/business background plus some data skills, there are way more options than people realize, but from the outside they all sound confusingly similar. And job descriptions are basically useless.
I spent a stupid amount of time talking to friends in tech and researching roles just to understand the landscape. I shared my IMHO on tech roles for people with economics/business backgrounds here in case it helps anyone else
